With the blessing of the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion of Blessed Memory, the first divine services were held at the newly opened Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox 'Mission' in Harrisonburg, Virginia, on February 3, 2012.
Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox Christian Church is a growing, vibrant community of Orthodox believers located in the Valley of Virginia. We are a parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia within the Eastern American Diocese. Services are conducted primarily in English with some Slavonic.
